Heading south we turned off of Highway 101 at Tillamonk onto the Three Capes Scenic Loop that connects Cape Meares
State Park, Cape Lookout State Park, and Cape Kiwanda State Park. The photos tell the story of the day - mostly cloudy/misty/foggy with a little sun.

Last night we went about 2 miles south of our cottage for the sunset - the beach was very different. We were close to Twin Rocks. There was a cloud bank and lots of haze but the sunset was still beautiful.

Halibut tacos ... hmmm, that sounds fabulous! We saw the Octopus Tree ... it was fascinating. I wanted to see the Cape Meares lighthouse, but alas that idea was vetoed. :-( We stayed in Yachats on our first visit ... easy walk to the beach.
