Thursday, June 4 was a gorgeous
day!
We drove to Avalanche, the furthest that you could drive on Going to the Sun Road. They are working to clear the snow and open the rest of the road – the hoped for date is June 17. We were told that the hike to Avalanche Lake was the 2nd best hike in the park. The best is somewhere off of Going to the Sun Road and no one can get to it yet.

Hard to imagine that they're still clearing snow. Beautiful pictures.
