We are home! Not for a day or a week. We are here to stay for months maybe! And we have Internet access again!
After talking with 2 techs from our service provider for hours last Saturday, I decided toattack fix our hardware Saturday night. I reset the router to the factory settings and found that there was a firmware update! Who would have thought? - not me! Anyway it took a while but all seemed to work! Then we left Sunday morning. The real test was when we arrived home Tuesday night - surprise, surprise, it still was working!
Now I will do normal home things like cleaning, cooking, laundry. Our deep freeze was empty - we had turned it off. I made a list of things we would like to eat. I made a grocery list. And I went shopping. Ugh! At least the groceries are now put away, supper is cooking, and the laundry is done.
Tomorrow I will pay bills. Then instead of cleaning, maybe I'll quilt. Think I've earned that after working all day today!

As much fun as it is to travel, it's always wonderful to return home (especially if we have internet!). Don't forget to share pictures of your quilt camp projects! ;-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you have your internet connection again! I'm fighting with my printer. It's connecting to my wifi and something isn't right with it. I had to put a new laser toner in and when I turned it back on, I couldn't get it to come back on line. So, I know your fustration. Enjoy your day of quilting!
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to get back in the groove after my trip. Of course, it doesn't help that I left lots of things to be finished or organized AFTER the trip, not before we left.
