We are on the road. As usual, this trip is about the journey not just the destination. Although we are headed to Colorado, instead of going west this morning, we went north to The Quilt Peddler in Fennimore, Wisconsin.
I loved the flowers at the entrance.
This is a very inviting shop with a friendly staff.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many Singer Featherweights in one spot! Many were on a counter in the lower right of this photo while others were displayed on higher shelves.
The shop is open and bright. They have a very nice selection of fabric - some of everything and yarn too! I will definitely be going back when I have a project in mind. The furnishings are also great - notice the old wooden church pews.
And there was lots of inspiration.
So why did I walk out with nothing? Well, I saw lots of neat things but I really don’t have a project in mind and this great shop is close enough to home that I will go back again!
Too funny about the red cars! Looks like a really pretty shop. Lucky you to have that near you. Safe travels.... I just love that you headed north to a quilt shop first thing on your vacation!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful quilt shop! Sounds like an excellent first stop on your trip (even if it meant heading north). Thanks for sharing that with us.
