Deb at VTQuilter has been doing 64 patch blocks, each in one color and black.
I decided to make some of those blocks using my scraps. I now realize that taking a picture on the white design wall wasn't my best idea of the day!
Each block is one colorway with white.
The fabrics are all put in to the block randomly - no thinking allowed!
Orange needs to be finished.
Yellow squares are waiting.
My squares all start at 2 inches and it is time to cut more squares - maybe red, blue, pink...
Since each block is 8 squares by 8 squares of randomness, I'm calling this quilt Crazy Eights.

I just love these 64 patch blocks. I can't wait to see them when they're all done and out together.
ReplyDeleteGreat name for your quilt! If I didn't have so many other things that I'm working on, I might do one of these. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
