My machine was serviced and cleaned this past week - so no FMQ going on. I've never tried FMQ with my Featherweight - wonder how that might work?? And I'm looking at another machine so maybe this won't happen again. But that's another story...
Anyway, last night when I realized that I needed to do some practice stitching for the Free Motion Quilting Project Quit Along, I grabbed a practice sandwich and wondered what my first stitches would look like after 5 days of no quilting.
Not too bad! In a few minutes, they looked even better but I was impressed at what I had when I first sat down! Head on over to Leah Day's website and check out what everyone else is doing.
If you wonder what I've been doing, (remember I had my Featherweight) check out 1 Little, 2 Little, 3 Little Dresses...

Your quilting looks great!
ReplyDeleteWill be anxious to see how this new QAL goes. I haven't had a chance to start anything, yet. Managed to get the blue prom monster mostly done....just some handwork to finish it off....Yay!! Will definitely think twice before doing another! Hugs, Doreen
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you haven't lost it, LOL! I didn't link up this week. I'm using this time to catch up on the Craftsy BOM, which I have managed to make it harder on myself than I needed to!
ReplyDeleteHi, in response to your question about FMQ on a Featherweight - I FMQ on a featherweight all the time. Tge inky thing I need to keep an eye on is making sure the motor doesn't get too hot but my wonderful Featherweight does the job beautifully! I would suggest you give it a go.
