Gnomey and Nipper live in our backyard. They arrived were created in November of 2012 by Zoli of Zoli's Woodcarving. You can see the original post here.
Zoli came back today to do a 'facelift'. Wow! What a difference!
We chose to keep the look more rustic.
If needed at some point in the future, Zoli will fill in the cracks and do a solid paint cover.
Our grass is still VERY green for September.
This is looking at the back of our house.
When we sit on our screened porch, Gnomey and Nipper are always close by.

The addition of those two to your family was before I discovered your blog, so it was interesting to read their history. They sure look great after their face lifts!
ReplyDeleteOops! I must be losing it! It occurred to me that surely I've been following you for more than three years ... and sure enough, I'd left a comment on that older post. Yikes! I didn't remember their history - at all. :-o
DeleteHe is like all the gnomies in that town in Wisconsin (can't remember the name, but I've been there a couple of times). Cute quilts in the other posts, too.
