It was a travel day...

Our friend Patti, Ray and I got an early start this morning.

We left Star Valley Ranch, Wyoming and traveled north into Idaho. I think we were in Idaho by 8:10 AM!

We crossed the Continental Divide three times today! The first time was between Idaho and Montana.

This afternoon we had some rain so I didn't get many more pictures.

We arrived in Great Falls, MT early enough that Ray and I headed to Pam's Knit 'n' Stitch. It's a great yarn shop with friendly people. I bought one skein of Mountain Colors Twizzle. Mountain Colors is a small Corvallis, Montana company that produces multi-color hand-dyed/painted yarn.

Tomorrow is another travel day... we are headed north to Canada.

A quiet day here - we are all getting ready to head toward Canada tomorrow. I wanted to share a few photos from this evening. We took a drive down Grey's River Road after dinner at Yankee Doodle Cafe in Alpine, WY. Our meals were very good!

Hat's Off To Grace!

Our Granddaughter Grace just graduated from 5th grade.

She received the Principal's Award along with other things!

Grace is a wonderful young lady.

We are very proud of her.

Today all of the Flat Mes celebrated and

tossed their hats in the air!

When I think of the ideal perfect student, I often thick of this person. She is always one I can count on to be paying attention and completing her work. Her hard work reflects in the grades she earns She has been a leader in the school through safety patrol and being captain on the book battle team. Her spelling ability is amazing, and it didn't surprise me at all when she won our school spelling bee. Not only is he a model student in the classroom, but she also has a wonderful personality. She is always willing to work with any person in the class, and always has a kind word to say. This year's principal's award goes to Grace ............
