A bright finish!

This bright little quilt is about 50" square. The fabrics are from my stash, some new from our recent trip. I thought a young child might love the bright colors. The photos were taken inside - we are still under an extreme heat advisory.

I used Dream Cotton for the batting and for the quilting, I machine stitched a wavy line using my walking foot.

The back for this donation quilt is Minkee which also came from my stash.

There are two quilts in this house that are pinned and need to be quilted. Not bad - now I feel caught up!

I leave on retreat tomorrow - it will be fun to sew and work on new projects.

  1. Cute quilt. I LOVE minky!! Although I haven't actually used it myself, I was gifted a quilt with it on the back Yummm... Have fun on your retreat! We're in the midst of a heat wave too, so I'm happy to stay indoors and sew.
