Love your cornstalks....that is something I,...Hehe! Love your cornstalks....that is something I, too, can relate to a lot better than sea oats. The leaves are great and something that is in my "go to" patterns of FMQ! Relaxing for some reason. The hooked swirls are very nice, too. Haven't done those..yet. QAYG has it's place but it isn't any quicker just different. Years ago Georgia Bonesteel introduced "Lap Quilting" (hand quilting) as a portable alternative to quilting the whole quilt at one time.
