My husband trimmed up an old hollow core door and then I covered it. I can lift it off when I need the work surface. The best of both worlds I say! blessings, marleneStitchinByTheLakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04501479854150315011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766181259810442300.post-50302212487620313812014-02-01T21:46:16.016-06:002014-02-01T21:46:16.016-06:00How cool! Till then, only temporary things. Genius!!!

I only have the one table ... it's all I have room for in my share of the spare bedroom. BUT I need to somehow come up with something better for pressing!! When I'm piecing, I set my ironing board up (but very low) just to my left so I can turn and press seams. But when it comes time to press the top or the backing, that ironing board just doesn't cut it for bed-sized quilts. :-( Kathy ... aka Nanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17626590048036292030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766181259810442300.post-28194030962237318862014-02-01T04:48:55.524-06:002014-02-01T04:48:55.524-06:00Love your ironing surface and especially love that...Love your ironing surface and especially love that it is in front of a window so you have a great view while you iron!Lesleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06156111116284534132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6766181259810442300.post-21263389449747730192014-02-01T00:25:46.929-06:002014-02-01T00:25:46.929-06:003AM is when ideas I've been thinking on usuall...3AM is when ideas I've been thinking on usually hit me!
