Red Coins is finished!

Red Coins is finished! I made White Coins a while back and this quilt was in the works then. White Coins was my last finish before our trip in May.
White Coins
I guess this is my first finish since the trip so maybe this quilt didn't take forever! No outside pictures today - we are under an excessive heat warning and it is not nice out.
Red Coins
Red Coins is about 61" square and has Dream Cotton batting. I used a walking foot and straight stitching for the quilting.

I love the back. This is one of those random pieces of fabric that I purchased "for backings someday". This piece has all of the right colors and the reds match in addition to being a great design.

This quilt will go on the donation pile. I think 5 or 6 of these quilts will be leaving one day soon.

Now, I think it's time to sit down and do nothing for a while...

  1. Always have a soft spot for a stacked coins quilt. Both are beautiful but the red one...oh my!

  4. Love the red quilt. Hope you are safe and sound. I see a bad storm in your area now. So far, we are far enough south to get missed.
